On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Bronzeville-Black Metropolis National Heritage Area (BBMNHA) proudly participated in the Juneteenth Festival, celebrating freedom, heritage, and community. Held in the heart of our cultural district, 3500 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., this powerful day was filled with joy, music, art, and remembrance.
BBMNHA’s presence highlighted our continued commitment to honoring the history and legacy of Bronzeville. From engaging conversations to shared stories and vibrant performances, this festival reminded us all of the strength and resilience that Juneteenth represents.
Enjoy the moments captured throughout the day as we gathered to uplift culture, celebrate liberation, and build community.
